The grain of a life, captured and re-composed.
Sing Rae is an exploration of vocal continuity. By sampling the specific timbre and grain of a single human voice across different phases of life, we have built a digital instrument capable of singing new truths.
The process is a hybrid of human intention and algorithmic rendering. AI serves as the vocal cord, but the nervous system—the lyrics, the arrangement, and the emotional arc—remains strictly human.
A study in contrast. Human-directed lyrics and composition, performed by a voice reconstructed from decades of memory.
The genesis point. A rare collaboration where the machine was granted authorship of both the melodic line and the prose.
A purely instrumental record. A landscape of atmosphere and space, designed by human hands and rendered through the lens of modern synthesis.
"What happens when the voice you have always known returns to you, carrying a melody you have only just imagined?"
Across this catalogue, the machine is never the artist; it is the brush. Excepting the experiments in First Song, every lyric and melodic structure is a product of human creative direction.
The vocals are AI-driven reconstructions of a single, real identity. We do not view this as imitation, but as an evolution of portraiture. By sampling a life’s vocal history, we allow a voice to exist outside of the linear constraints of time. This is not a replacement of the self—it is the self, extended.
